What I Ate Sunday

I love Sunday, it's time to just chill out with hubby around our house. It's also a time for me to explore my novice cooking skill and of course I also love to eat.

Breakfast
On Sunday I usually start my day a little bit late around 9AM, so I have a simple breakfast some kiwi's, mini danish and hazelnut spread and some guava juice, we're usually made it from fresh guava but since it's not in season so this one is from Sunripe.

Lunch
For lunch I made an Indonesian traditional meal; a saffron rice with spicy beef liver and potato (sambal goreng ati) and some omelette sliced. This meal usually served for special event in Indonesia such as birthdays, thanksgiving (syukuran) and any other festivities, this one is the more simple version of it though.

Diner
For Diner I made an Oriental Fried Rice with chicken breast, sweet corn, egg, garlic and onion. I just loved Asian food so much and this is a very easy diner but taste so yummy.

So that's what I ate on Sunday I know I should be dieting and eat more healthy food but I just can't help myself. In my defense since I'm not a big fan of vegetables I like to make vegetables juice with broccoli, carrot and tomatoes. I also made one for myself  before diner but since it's not pretty I don't take photo of it. And since I keep all the fiber my juice it's became very thick so I also made Lemon water to help me take it down my throat.

New Days Has Come

Hey... happy new year everyone, wow it's 2013 already! I guess time really caught me off guard.
Valuable lessons I've learned from 2012 are ; People come and go in our lives let go those who walked out and welcome those who come in, always do good things while you can because good things happen to good people and God never sleep, hold your loved ones and tell them how much they meant for you, I'm personally still overcome the lost of my adopted little sister, she was adopted from a baby so our family is the only family she knew, it's been so hard since we're grew up together, we fight, we laugh and cry together and I was her shoulder to cry on. Sometimes I still couldn't believe my self that she's gone forever and I couldn't hear her silly laugh again....still I have to let her go because she's in a better place now, and she's not gone she will always in my heart.

With all that said and done I'm very thankful for everything God given me in 2012, I believe that everything happen for a reason and that you can't control everything in your life, the bad and the good things.

I don't have any specific resolution in 2013, I just want to be a better person and to have a better life in general. Having a marriage life is a total life changer for me since my single life is all about having fun 24/7 ( I know stupid huh) and life as we know it doesn't last forever, but I'm totally blessed having a husband like mine he's my rock, my life, my love and my hope. I cant wait to build our dream and our little family together and I hope in 2013 our prays and dreams could come true.

2013 we're ready for ya!

Birthday Wishlist

"May you stay forever young".
- Bob Dylan-

I've just turn 28 on 20th of August this year... yikes!! I can't believe I'm gonna be 30 in two more years. As I reflect back to my 27 I'm so overwhelmed, I'm having so many moments that challenge my maturity and wisdom, I learn to let go and be more patience. But I believe that everything happen for a reason and no matter what happen in your live always look at the bright side because God has a bigger plan for you.
For my 28 I hope I can live it to the fullest and never stop growing.

I really hope I can't make them come true, making a wishlist or a resolution list can be very daunting sometime whether or whether not they could be accomplished. But it also can be your motivation and help you figure out what you really want in live. I guess it depends on your perspective, one thing for sure... Wish me luck!!
