A Late Post on My Singapore Holiday

When the Indonesian people want to get away for awhile to a more sophisticated, orderly and clean city/country we go to Singapore the melting pot of Asia. Singapore is an expensive city to visit in my opinion, with the same budget holiday cost in Singapore we can get a lavish holiday in Bali, but at least there's a lot of promotional flight to Singapore from Jakarta...meh! Anyway here's a recap of my holiday with hubby at Singapore on January, I know it's a long overdue but hey better late than never.

On our first day we visited Singapore Botanic Garden, it's a very huge park in the middle of city and it's very well maintenance of course like every other public place in Singapore. A lot of people jogs and walk their dogs or babies, and kids running around, this is a very relaxing place I wish we had this place in Jakarta such an Oasis of oxygen. Inside SBC there's an National Orchid Garden which by the way just simply enchanting with their various collection of Orchids around the world. Me and hubby had a such a good time walking in this park.

On our second day we went to Sentosa Island, it's a is a popular island resort in Singapore, Attractions include a long sheltered beach, Fort Siloso, two golf courses, two five-star hotels, and the Resorts World Sentosa, featuring the theme park Universal Studios Singapore. I also had chance to ride Luge and Sky ride it was a totally fun ride I had it 3 times in a row for like 23 SGD.

We had a late lunch at Arab Street we try the famous Chicken Briyani and Murtabak they were soo good. By the way we're staying at Bugis area, it's an affordable yet comfortable and convenience area to stayed in Singapore and the best part there's Bugis Market where you can shop till you drop with a bargain. Our hotel is near Bugis Junction which below there's Bugis MRT Station which make it very easy to get around and to get some food.

On our third day we went to Garden by the Bay, a beautiful park in the heart of Singapore adjacent to the Marina Reservoir The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden. The largest of the three gardens is Bay South Garden, standing at 54 hectares. Another lovely day to spent it under the Sun along with my most beloved person in the world my dear hubby.

See you soon Singapore!

What I Ate Sunday

I love Sunday, it's time to just chill out with hubby around our house. It's also a time for me to explore my novice cooking skill and of course I also love to eat.

Breakfast
On Sunday I usually start my day a little bit late around 9AM, so I have a simple breakfast some kiwi's, mini danish and hazelnut spread and some guava juice, we're usually made it from fresh guava but since it's not in season so this one is from Sunripe.

Lunch
For lunch I made an Indonesian traditional meal; a saffron rice with spicy beef liver and potato (sambal goreng ati) and some omelette sliced. This meal usually served for special event in Indonesia such as birthdays, thanksgiving (syukuran) and any other festivities, this one is the more simple version of it though.

Diner
For Diner I made an Oriental Fried Rice with chicken breast, sweet corn, egg, garlic and onion. I just loved Asian food so much and this is a very easy diner but taste so yummy.

So that's what I ate on Sunday I know I should be dieting and eat more healthy food but I just can't help myself. In my defense since I'm not a big fan of vegetables I like to make vegetables juice with broccoli, carrot and tomatoes. I also made one for myself  before diner but since it's not pretty I don't take photo of it. And since I keep all the fiber my juice it's became very thick so I also made Lemon water to help me take it down my throat.
